Enjoy the weekend, look out for one another, and represent PISAD USA with respect. These rules apply to every attendee throughout the convention, including the hotel, meals, activities, beach outing and group transportation.

No chewing tobacco or spitting.Quiet hours: 11 PM - 7 AM.Misconduct means removal.
  1. Treat everyone with respect

Be courteous to fellow attendees, organizers, hotel staff and other guests. No harassment, unwanted touching, abusive language, threats, fighting or intimidation. Respect personal boundaries and stop when someone asks.

  2. No chewing tobacco or spitting

Chewing tobacco, gutka and tobacco-containing paan are prohibited at convention activities and in shared hotel spaces. No spitting tobacco, paan residue or saliva on floors, walls, sinks, walkways or grounds. Keep all spaces clean and use trash bins.

  3. Quiet hours: 11 PM - 7 AM

Quiet hours apply every night, in local Clearwater time. End karaoke, amplified music and noisy gatherings by 11 PM. Keep voices low in rooms, hallways and shared areas; do not disturb other guests. Follow any stricter hotel noise rules.

  4. Drink responsibly and stay safe

If you choose to drink, know your limits. Intoxication does not excuse misconduct. Do not pressure anyone to drink, drive while impaired, or enter the water while impaired. Follow venue rules for alcohol, smoking and vaping.

  5. Respect the property and the program

No damage, vandalism, littering or disruptive behavior. Follow meal times, activity instructions and directions from organizers, hotel staff and security. Keep games friendly; bring disputes to an organizer instead of arguing or escalating.

  6. Respect privacy and report concerns

Ask permission before sharing photos or videos of others. Tell a convention organizer or hotel security promptly if you experience or witness misconduct. No retaliation against anyone who raises a concern. In an emergency, call 911.

  7. Misconduct means removal

Anyone who violates this code will be removed from the convention at the organizers' direction. Serious or unsafe behavior warrants immediate removal; a warning is not guaranteed. If directed to leave, stop participating and cooperate with organizers and hotel security.

Thank you for helping make this a safe, respectful and enjoyable weekend for everyone.
